Hello Adventurers,
Surveys and Shipping
The time has come to lock orders and charge for shipping. We are planning to lock orders on the 29th June and charge for shipping on the 1st July. 95% of people have filled out their surveys. We will send out personal nudge email to the last 5% so keep an eye out if you cant remember filling it out.
Timeline Update
We are working hard to make changes to the design files to reflect the changes for the box and the knock on effects for the gameplay. Please see the graphic below for an update for the timeline. We are REALLY hoping for the games to be landing with you in January. Although we are mindful that this timeline goes over the Christmas period so there may be unforeseen delays. Thank you for you patience, as first time creators we are learning a lot from this process and are committed to getting the best version of the game to you.

Hello Adventurers,
Well! The white sample has proved to be very useful indeed. We have shared the white sample with a few trusted friends and designers and had some pretty strong, honest and very useful reactions.
From these reactions we've decided to make a major change to the box design and most likely to completely simplify it - do away with magnets and prioritise functionality. It would have been nice to do something funky but it's not worth compromising the structural integrity of the box and creating frankly an annoying experience that does not enhance gameplay.
This change means we need to update some of the design files and one of the secret missions, but we do think that this change will be worth it. This whole kerfuffle has, however, put us behind schedule. We will have more clarity around expected dates once we have finalised all the files. So please bear with us while we get the clarity, and we will update you when we can.
In other news...
We will be at UKGE! We don't have a stall like last year but we will be part of the #BoardGameProtoHype stand (3-T27). Harriet (The Minty of the Minty Noodles) will be on the stall on Saturday morning. So please come and say hi and have a look at our prototype of Episode one.

Hello Adventurers!
Development Update
The white sample has arrived. It’s been amazing to get the first feel of a physical copy. It’s so exciting and makes it all start to feel real. For those unfamiliar a white sample is a copy of of the game box and all the components but without any of the artwork or printing. This is useful to check fit and card stock without the print process.
There are so many things we LOVE about it. The bigger play area for the missiles, the flickability of the puck, the card sizes… but we’ve been able to highlight some changes we want to make too.
Currently the way the box lid is designed it slides off too easily and creates a gap which all the little pieces can fall out of - this definitely needs to be fixed.
We also want to explore if there is a way to display the different decks in the box so they look organised. There are 6 decks of the bigger cards for the adventure decks and hint decks and 4 decks of the square cards. It would be great to get to see all of them at a glance.
We will be working with the manufacturer to see what our options are.
This feels like a big milestone! We are getting there. ✨

Development, Pin Packaging and Unseen Character Art

Hello Adventurers!
Sorry we've been quiet for a while. We wanted to wait until we had a bigger update but we have decided a small update is better than none!
Development Update
We are still tweaking and working with Whatz Manufacturing to get the files print ready. There are just a few non standard pieces that we are working out, but we are getting the first proofs and blank samples back now. All this fussing now should help reduce delays later and we built in some time for this in our estimated timeline. Hopefully we can be print ready soon and we will have a more concrete idea of where we are on the timeline, we will update you as soon as we know.
Pin Packaging
We have also been designing the packaging for our Kickstarter exclusive pins, which are available as an add on in the pledge manager. Exciting to see how many of you added them!

Talking of the pledge manager... 91% of you have completed your survey. If you haven't completed it already make sure you do. You can always update your address later if needed.

Development Update
After some refining and amendments from proofreading, the game files have been sent to Whatz Games Manufacturing! We expect a little bit of tweaking when we receive proofs. However, we are one step closer to holding our physical copies.
Local Pickup
We have had some feedback that it would be great to offer local pick up so we have made that option available for Bristol UK. This pickup will likely be part of some sort of launch event, because who doesn't like an excuse for a party. ✨
